Yemi Odubade Welcome Back at Eastbourne Borough

Yemi Odubade was told last week that his Oxford United contract will not be renewed in the summer, and the striker will therefore be looking for a new club to join for next season.
Eastbourne Borough assistant Nick Greenwood has commented that Yemi Odubade is more than welcome back at Eastbourne, and the club will be trying to secure his signature in the summer.
Odubade joined Oxford for a fee of £25,000 in January 2006, and although became somewhat of a fans favourite for his performances for the club in the 2006/07 season; Odubade has not been viewed so favourably this season, and since the arrival of Chris Wilder in December 2008 has found his first team opportunities a little limited.
Greenwood commented to the Eastbourne Herald that “He's one of many players we will be talking about and making a decision on.” He also said of Odubade that “Yemi's a local lad and we keep in contact with him on a regular basis.”
It’s a definite possibility that Yemi could rejoin the club from which he departed in 2006; there may well be other clubs interested in his services though, so time shall only tell as to whether or not Yemi Odubade will indeed be returning to Eastbourne.
