Jamie Cook Returning to Oxford United?

Crawley Town striker Jamie Cook is rumoured to be returning to Oxford United in order to provide the team with a fourth striker. James Constable, Jack Midson, and Matt Green are all already on the Oxford United books; Cook would give Oxford further options upfront however, and manager Chris Wilder perhaps feels that he’s in need of more firepower upfront.
Cook actually started out his career with Oxford United, and the Oxford born striker could be just what Chris Wilder requires in order to help his team win promotion.
Cook has scored 29 goals in 72 league appearances since signing for Crawley in 2007, and if he does indeed make the move to Oxford then Chris Wilder will have himself four top quality strikers with a proven ability to score goals at this level.
