Wrexham 0-0 Chester
Wrexham draw 0-0 with Chester today to provide the only no-score draw of the weekend in the Blue Square Premier. Chester City remain miserably adrift at the foot of the table on -14 points, Wrexham meanwhile move up to 15th, with two games in hand of most of the other side’s above them in the league.
This was the fifth draw in a row for Chester City, and whilst the side isn’t losing games at current; drawing fixtures just isn’t enough, and the team has a lot of work to do if Chester City is to survive in the Blue Square Premier this season. Dean Saunders’ men meanwhile will now be looking to drive onwards and upwards, with a view to reaching the play-offs come the end of the 2009/10 season.
